The lwfg in Kerkini. Today in the small group of lwfg which existed in Kerkini, one more small flock has been added and raised the total number of birds to at least 52 individuals! Perhaps, we are talking about the rarest goose and the most endangered water bird in Europe! The lwfg came from the northern regions of the Scandinavian Peninsula to Greece after mid-September and returns back to northern Europe after mid-March for breeding. So we are waiting to see the total number of birds that will be this year!
